About us
Established in 1963, the airfield at Challock is set in beautiful countryside on top of the North Downs.
Our facilities include a modern clubhouse, administration office, briefing room, bar, comfortable accommodation, caravan pitches and parking.
The club has K-21, Purchaz and Junior gliders as part of it’s fleet, available for all members to fly.
Current membership stands at around 120 active pilots, of whom 20 are qualified BGA Instructors and a further 10 are tug pilots.

Community
We are a mutual society, a group of friends with similar interests but different backgrounds, who come together regularly to fly gliders.
Members come from a wide range of backgrounds, surgeons, electricians, railway staff, engineers etc, all contributing their skills and experience to the club.
